YESTERDAY.
Played TJ. We were all fired up and from the beginning til when we stopped we played with all our hearts, souls, minds, bodies. I could see it so clearly (even though i WAS blinded by the striking ORANGE of TP, CROWDING OUR half practically the WHOLE game. smiles.) The first half went by, fighting, fighting, fighting. Sweat blood tears, we were making it worth it. Short corner after line hit after shots at goal weren't working. Then suddenly, we got THE short corner. Luddy passed the ball to me, i stopped it, pushed it to Amanda. She took her shot, rebound. Forwards were in their positions and then Eve sweeped. BAM! In the goal! Our first for the game. We fought on, smiling, knowing that we were one step closer to our final victory. Then we got another short corner and just then, the whistle ending the first half sounded. We had one more chance to make it before the first half was over. Everyone was in position. Luddy passed it to Clare and Clare controlled then WHACCKKED! The ball went nicely straight into the goal. However, APPARENTLY, it was lifted. We'll see what SHF says. But it's okay. Infuriating, but okay.
Second half starts and we're rearing to go. We take constant shots at goal but none go in. THEN SUDDENLY, LIGHTNING STRIKES AND IT RAINS AND DAMNIT WE HAVE TO PLAY THE REMAINING 19MINS ON TUESDAY MORNING. But it's okay. We'll get back our energy to the fullest and score score score. Cos we're gonna win this thing by more than ONE (:
WHA I was so frustrated when the game got stopped 11mins into the second half. Somewhere from the start of the game til then the fire in me had accumulated to such a ridiculous amount that all i could think about was getting the ball into the D, into the goal. Then the damn game got stopped and as if CCAB's pitch isn't like a freaking mouse cage as it is, sitting there on the railing and not being able to go in and play the game, it was torture. I've never wanted to score so badly in my life. Not only for Haiqal (haha) but for everything we've worked for, for the team, for God, for myself. It felt so good to WANT IT. Exhilirating. Amazing. Wonderful. OMG, I JUST WANNA PLAY HOCKEY.
I don't know if i'm ready.
-let's do this shit.
